Certain newly admitted Freshmen who have accepted a 2011-2012 on-campus housing contract are automatically eligible to have their $300 Advance Payment deferred. Students must meet one of the following criteria:

• Pell Grant eligible.
• A graduate of a Longhorn Opportunity Scholarship (LOS) high school.
• A recipient of one of the following scholarships:
• Distinguished Longhorn Opportunity Scholarship
• Longhorn Opportunity Scholarship
• Distinguished President’s Achievement Scholarship
• President's Achievement Scholarship (PAS Tier 1)
• Longhorn Pre-College Academy Scholarship (Burnt Orange, Scholars or Achievement)
• A recipient of a Terry Foundation Scholarship. (Must also be Pell Grant eligible.)

Students should contact the Division of Housing & Food Service within the 10 day period prior to the housing contract due date to verify their eligibility and finalize their Advance Payment. Direct specific financial aid questions to the Office of Student Financial Services.
