Christopher Benton Chadwick Memorial Scholarship in Liberal Arts

The Christopher Benton Chadwick Memorial Scholarship is awarded to one incoming Liberal Arts freshman every four years, and covers all tuition, books and room and board for four years. Financial need is required. The student must maintain a 3.0 GPA and be pursuing a degree in the College of Liberal Arts with a preference given to Government majors. If, during the four years, the student changes majors, the scholarship will continue.
How to Apply
  1. Entering Freshmen must complete the ApplyTexas Freshman Scholarship Application, including the Financial Information section.
  2. Applicants must submit a 500 word essay on either of the two recommended topics.
  3. Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation with at least one from outside of school faculty and staff.
