Christopher Benton Chadwick Memorial Scholarship in Liberal Arts

The Christopher Benton Chadwick Memorial Scholarship is awarded to one incoming Liberal Arts freshman every four years, and covers all tuition, books and room and board for four years. Financial need is required. The student must maintain a 3.0 GPA and be pursuing a degree in the College of Liberal Arts with a preference given to Government majors. If, during the four years, the student changes majors, the scholarship will continue.
How To Apply
  1. Entering Freshman students must complete the ApplyTexas Application for The University of Texas at Austin by December 1 of the Fall semester of your Senior year in high school.
  2. Entering Freshman students must complete all Financial Information, Essay Topics A and B, and select "C.B. Chadwick Memorial Scholarship in Liberal Arts" on Page 5 of the Scholarship Section.
  3. All applicants must submit three letters of recommendation. At least one letter must be from someone other than a school faculty or staff member.
  4. All applicants must demonstrate financial need by applying for need-based financial aid by March 15 using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
