Advertising Education Foundation of Houston
Offers scholarships to students pursuing undergraduate or post-graduate degrees in advertising, communications, journalism, radio/TV, commercial art, marketing, public relations or related fields. Preference is given to Houston-area residents attending accredited four-year colleges or universities in any location or to students attending Houston-area technical/professional institutes as defined by the Houston ADI.
Aerospace States Association
Offers two $1500 scholarships to students pursuing an aerospace-related degree in a second year technical or associate degree program or with sophomore or junior status in a bachelor degree program.
American Architectural Foundation
Offers various need-based scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,500 for minority and disadvantaged architecture students, and fellowships for undergraduate and graduate study.
ASCO Numatics Industrial Automation Engineering College Scholarship
Offers two $5,000 scholarships to U.S. engineering students who are pursuing careers in industrial automation-related disciplines for undergraduate and graduate study.

Offers scholarships to outstanding college students currently enrolled in educator preparation programs.
Bell Labs Graduate Research Fellowship Program
Offers fellowships to women and members of minority groups currently underrepresented in the sciences who will be pursuing full-time doctorial studies in specific science, math, engineering and technology fields.
Monsignor William Broussard Health Career Scholarship
Offers a $1,000 scholarship to Catholic students from Catholic dioceses in the state of Texas who will be attending a university as a sophomore or above in 2008 and majoring in a concentration of classes that will lead to a career in health care - such as nursing, occupational or physical therapy, social work, hospital administration and others.
Construction Financial Management Association Central Texas Chapter
Offers two $1000 scholarships to business students pursuing careers in construction financial management. For additional eligibility requirements and information, download the application (PDF).
Engineering for the Earth
Offers scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students, from any discipline of engineering, who are driven to help balance the designed and the natural worlds. Undergraduate applicants must be in their Junior or Senior year and all applicants must maintain a 3.5 GPA.
Foundation for Nursing Education
Offers scholarships and fellowships to students pursuing research or education opportunities in nursing.
Great Southwest Civitan District Foundation: Ab Irvine Memorial Scholarship
Offers scholarships to undergraduate and graduate Juniors, Seniors, or graduate students in Special Education. These students must also plan a career in teaching special education or working within the public school system. Applicants must have established legal residence within the Great Southwest District (Colorado, New Mexico, or El Paso County, Texas).
Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Austin Chapter Scholarship
Offers a $1,000 scholarship to to a junior, senior or graduate student interested in pursuing a career in internal auditing or a closely related field. Student must be enrolled in the Spring semester. Previous winners are not eligible.
Microsoft Tuition Scholarships
Offers technical scholarships, designed to encourage study in computer science and related technical disciplines, to current undergraduate female students, underrepresented minority students or students with disabilities who are currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program.
Ludwig von Mises Institute Scholarships
Offers scholarships for students at the Ludwig von Mises Institute in economics and libertarian political and social theory.

Offers a variety of fellowships in science, engineering and medicine.
National Association of Black Journalists

National Cattlemen’s Foundation
Offers twenty $1,500 scholarships to undergraduate students in the areas of education, communications, production, research or any other area involved with the beef industry. Also, offers two $12,000 graduate scholarships to students pursuing degrees in animal science, environmental science (water) or agriculture.
National Society of Accountants Scholarship Foundation
Offers an average of 40 scholarships per year in the amount of $1,000 to accounting students entering their third or fourth year of studies, and $500 to students entering their second year of studies.

National Institutes of Health Undergraduate Scholarship Program
Offers scholarships for tuition and reasonable educational and living expenses up to $20,000 per academic year to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral and social science health-related research.
Ozarka's "Every Drop Counts" Earth Science Scholarship Fund
Offers two $10,000 scholarships to students currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an Earth/Environmental Sciences program at an accredited four-year college or university. Scroll to the bottom of the page for instructions and an application.
Press Club of Dallas Foundation Scholarship
Offers scholarships of up to $3,500 a year to undergraduate and graduate students in communications-related fields attending a Texas college or university. Applicants must at least be sophomores at the time of application. Applications can be found under the "News" link.
SMART: Department of Defense Scholarship for Service Program
Offers scholarships and fellowships to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students with demonstrated ability and special aptitude in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and United States citizens enrolled at a U.S. college or university.
Texas Association of Broadcasters
Offers eight $2,000 scholarships to students majoring in broadcasting fields.
Texas Social Studies Supervisors Association
Offers a $1,000 scholarship to a student teacher doing their student teaching in social studies in the state of Texas.
Texas Society of Architects
Offers scholarships to undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate students in the accredited departments or schools of architecture in Texas.
Texas Society of Professional Engineers
Offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors who will enroll in ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited engineering programs at specified Texas colleges or universities.
Jere W. Thompson, Jr. Scholarship Fund
Offers scholarships to disadvantaged college sophomores enrolled in civil engineering programs at public or private universities in Texas. Students must be enrolled full-time pursuing a B.S. in civil engineering or construction engineering and be classified a Junior in the Fall semester for which the award is made.
Trinity Valley Quilters' Guild of Fort Worth
Offers a $2,500 scholarship to students pursuing a baccalaureate degree in the field of fine arts.
