Private Scholarships Search Engines
There are many web sites that include scholarship search engines and provide
an easy to use mechanism to apply for less well known scholarships. Local
libraries and bookstores have volumes of scholarship source books as well.
The Minnie Stevens Piper
Foundation, a non-profit, charitable corporation, in conjunction with the
Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation (TG)
and the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts office,

The College Board, a not-for-profit membership association and a trusted name in
academic testing, provides an extensive, free Scholarship Search
option that finds "...scholarships, internships, grants, and loans from non-college
sources that match educational levels, talents, and backgrounds."
This comprehensive, free scholarship search engine uses personal profiles to identify
and match scholarships by relevancy. Users have the abiility to search through more
than "...2.7 million scholarship and grant awards worth up to $19 billion in aid."
Scholarships.com is "...the largest
independent online source for free college scholarship searches and financial aid
information."
"The FREE and EASY scholarship source." A free scholarship listing that also
provides information about essay contests, awards by major and state, and free
financial aid information.

in exchange for advance fees, weekly or monthly fees, or personal information,
